All Donations Welcome
We will be having a charity book stall in the dealer's room at the con. If you have any books you'd like to donate please bring them along. The book stall will work under the honesty system where you pay as much as you like for the books you take.
The proceeds from this bookstall will go to the con charity, MacMillan Cancer Care.

SERVER OUTAGE
Some of you may have noticed that the Satellite 3 website was unavailable earlier today. This was caused by a brief problem with the hosting company.
We are also currently upgrading the server. Because of this, the site will be down for a short time on Friday. We hope that this will go smoothly, but there may be a need to take the site down on Saturday or Sunday as well.
We hope that you will not be inconvenienced by these outages.

Postal Memberships
We will stop accepting postal memberships and cheques after Friday 10th February 2012. After than you can still sign up and pay by PayPal, or in cash on the door.

Science Guest
Satellite 3 is delighted to announce that Jon Davies, founder of the science outreach company thinkScience Ltd, will be joining us as science guest. Jon will deliver his lecture on Sunday. His appearance is sponsored by the UK Worldcon bid, London 2014.

Room Rate Changes
The special Satellite 3 room rate is now closed. However, the the hotel is still offering a 20% discount on its Best Available B&B price at the time of booking (until 10th February 2012)
